Engaging in acts of penance can be a way to demonstrate genuine remorse and commitment to change, but it should be done with the intention of personal growth and not as a form of self-punishment. Ultimately, it is important to strive for a balance between acknowledging one's sins and moving forward with a sense of hope and renewal. **

They can provide you with the necessary guidance and support to help you atone for your sin in a meaningful and spiritually fulfilling way. **
